ZDF, Germany’s second national television broadcaster, admitted using press materials from an agency called Ukrainian Crisis Media Center (UCMC), a PR group explicitly directed against alleged “Russian propaganda”, in support of the current Kiev government.
Whereas the fact, a right-wing coup d’état has occurred in Ukraine, seems to have reached even the biggest western media outlets, only a handful of journalists have reported on the connection between the newly installed, non-elected government and the militant far-right Ukrainian National Self-Defence (UNA-UNSO), a group allegedly responsible for the sniper attacks on February 20, where over 70 people died. Even fewer mention that members of the UNA-UNSO were reportedly trained by NATO special forces.
